Pieces of Jeans Around The Crash Site of The Sriwijaya Air Plane Found

KNews.id- Head of the Government and Transit Section of the South Seribu Islands Subdistrict, Surahman, said that his party had found a number of items around Male Island, Seribu Islands on Saturday (9-1).

Previously, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Transportation, Adita Irawati, confirmed that the Sriwijaya Air plane with the Jakarta-Pontianak route had lost contact.

“There has been a lost contact with the Sriwijaya aircraft on the Jakarta-Pontianak route with the SJY 182 call sign. The last contact was at 14:40 WIB,” Adita told reporters, Saturday (9-1).

Adita said that currently the investigation process is still ongoing and his party is also coordinating with the National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) and the National Transportation Safety Committee (KNKT).
