KNews.id- The Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, initiated a land grant of 10 hectares in Sentul City, Bogor Regency, to PBNU. The handover of the land grant documents was carried out on Wednesday (20/1) at the Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) Executive Board.
In the upload on the nu.channels Instagram account, it is known that Luhut himself delivered the donated land documents to the PBNU Office, Jalan Kramat Raya, Senen, Central Jakarta.
“The Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, General TNI Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan MPA visited PBNU to donate land,” stated the Instagram account.
The handover of the 10 hectare grant was received directly by the Chairman of PBNU, Said Aqil Siradj. The Land Donated Belongs to Sentul City. During the handover ceremony of land documents, also attended by the Head of the Muslimat Center of Nahdlatul Ulama Zannuba Arifah Chafsoh alias Yenny Wahid, who is the second daughter of the 4th President of Indonesia, Abdurrachman Wahid alias Gus Dur.
When confirmed by Kumparan , Yenny Wahid revealed that the 10 hectares of land that had been granted did not belong to Luhut personally, but belong to Sentul City. Yenny Wahid admitted that he did not know the relationship between Luhut and Sentul City.
“Maybe old friends too. Those who donated Sentul City were facilitated by Mr. Luhut as a person. I don’t understand either, ” said Yenny Wahid, Thursday (21/1).
The figure of Tranggono Ting and Luhut
During the submission of the land grant documents, Luhut was present at the PBNU office with Tranggono Ting. It can be seen on the Instagram account nu.channels, Tranggono Ting was the one who submitted the documents directly to KH. Said Aqil Siradj.
Tranggono Ting, who is a professional in the property industry, is known to have served as President Commissioner of Sentul City, he was appointed on November 22, 2016.
However, his position as President Commissioner was later replaced by the former Deputy Chairman of the KPK, Basaria Pandjaitan, since October 14, 2020. Tranggono Ting previously served as the Company’s Independent Commissioner.
Several important positions have been held by Architecture graduates from Konztanz Fachhoch Schule, Germany, namely as President Director of PT Gandaria Sejahtera (1992) and President Director of PT Arthamas Sejahtera, all of which are engaged in the property sector.
Land to be Built NU University
Yenny Wahid, revealed the reason for Luhut to initiate the 10 hectare land grant. According to him, Luhut wanted to realize his conversation with Gus Dur 20 years ago about the need for NU to have its own university.
Luhut and Gus Dur talked about the development of the quality of education in NU. However, this plan did not materialize until Gus Dur died. According to Yenny, Luhut felt he had a moral debt to realize this vision.
The plan is that the 10 hectare land grant will be used by PBNU for university campuses. It’s just that, Yenny has not been able to go into details about the development process up to the target set. (AHM)
