It is known, in a statement, Habib Kribo said that the Arab nation is a nation that has no culture.”Arabs, if there is no Kaaba, have no honor. What are Arab cultural customs? Nothing. A nation that has no culture, a nation that does not produce intellectuals. Who tried Islamic intellectuals from Arabia? Nothing,” said Habib Kribo.Responding to Habib Kribo’s statement, a former UN diplomat, Anis Prince Dache said that Habib Kribo’s words were very wrong.
He then explained the special nature of Arabia, where Arabia was the place where Islam descended until the first word from Allah.”Islam descended on Arab lands. Plus the first word that came down to the Prophet SAW, ‘iqra’, the Arabic word, came down on Arab land, to the Arabs, the Prophet SAW. So when you say that Arabs don’t have culture and Arabs don’t have intellectuals, you are really wrong,” said Anis Prince Dache.
Anis then stated that what Habib Kribo said was an insult to Arab culture. And so, he means tantamount to insulting Islam.”In Arab countries, there are 22 countries, 377 million people, nothing can be tolerated. You insult Arab culture or culture,” said Anies.”
If you insult Arabia and Arab culture, it’s like you insult Islam, because Islam and Arabs are connected,” he continued.Furthermore, Anis said that if Habib Kribo loves or hates Arabs, it doesn’t matter, because it is his personal business.”But if you insult Arabs, Arab culture, Arab countries or Arab culture and traditions, we won’t be able to tolerate you,” he said.At the end of the video, Anis reminded Habib Kribo to immediately issue an apology regarding his statement.
