KNews.id- The following is a report from the TEMPO KEGADUHAN newspaper breaking the silence of the wet night at the Kilometer 50 Rest Area at the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, Monday morning, 7 December.
Almost all eyes are on the Chevrolet Spin without the left front tire. Brak. The minibus then crashed into the Toyota Corolla at the exit access area. Within seconds, a number of armed men surrounded the car which was later identified as Rizieq Syihab's escort vehicle.
Two people in the Chevrolet Spin are thought to have died and four others were arrested. It is the last hour of their life. At around 03.00, the six bodies of the members of the Islamic Defenders Front arrived at the National Police Hospital in Kramat Jati, Jakarta.
A witness at the Kilometer 50 Rest Area told Tempo about the arrest. He saw three people face down on the asphalt. One of them then got a kick in the head.
"Before being kicked, there was a sound of 'geez, sir'," he told the Tempo coverage team in a city outside Jakarta, last Wednesday morning.
It was not easy for him to share that testimony. This is because the identities of each merchant in the breakout area were recorded by the police, while the manager asked them to shut up. With the help of an intermediary, it took TEMPO more than a week to convince him to be willing to be interviewed by voice and video recordings.
We did not write down several statements that strengthen the testimony because they could lead to the disclosure of the witness's identity. A number of questions were asked repeatedly at separate times and the answers were consistent.
According to witnesses, the police in black uniforms checked the cell phones of many people in the KM 50 Rest Area that night to make sure there were no photos and video recordings. He said a group of officers, including those in civilian clothes, were at the location about seven hours before the arrests.
The following is an excerpt from the interview.
What made you look at the victim's car? When the car passed, I was shocked, because there was the sound of kretek-kretek. The sound of the rim hitting the asphalt. Keep hitting the car in front of him. Jeger. Think there is a collision. Immediately all gathered there.
Are you approaching? Yes. (Witness described his position and how close he was to the car) What was the first thing you saw? When I saw it, it was lying down.
How many people? I see three.
They are still alive? Sure it's still alive. What makes you sure? Because it moves.
How about the movement? (Turning his head from side to side) We were looking away because it was drizzling. Position of the victim's hand? The hands are crushed by the body. Both. Other than those three people, what do you see? I saw fit to take out one more person. I think it died.
That person on the minibus? The person from the car. On the back left door.
Why do you call him dead? He didn't move.
How do officers issue? Withdrawn.
Back or front of the body? Back.
Whole body out? I saw one that was half body. Then released. His head fell on the asphalt.
Only saw one victim die? My friend saw there was another. On the edge of the driver's seat. But not out.
What other things are officers doing in that car I saw them take out their guns. Samurai are sick of them. What time did the incident occur? Half past twelve. Past 12 o'clock.
Hear gunshots? Not. But my friend heard. He said twice, the car stopped. My friend saw when I got in, the car was destroyed. The front, left, right, it's broken. In front of him, there is a car. So crash and stop. My friend also saw the car being followed. The stalker stopped far behind. Direction from the entrance, on the left side of the road.
Your friend also saw three people face down? My friend saw four. Because the point of view is different and dark.
How long were they asked to lie down? Approximately more than 30 minutes. Long time. Until you are also waiting for it.
The three or four people didn't change positions for 30 minutes? As they lay down, I saw that someone had been kicked in the head. One person. Before being kicked, there was a sound of "Geez, sir."
Did you see the victim being transferred to the car? When I put the car in, I didn't see it. But I saw two people squatting while (placing both hands behind their heads). It is quite a distance from the scene.
How many people? I see two. My friend saw three. Another person had his head bandaged before he got into the car.
They were handcuffed? Not. Why do you say officers were at the scene before the incident? They have been there since (Sunday, December 6) afternoon, before sunset. When wudu wants to pray at sunset, his gun is slung over his back.
What color is the uniform? All black. Are you sure they weren't just stopping by? For visitors, it won't be long there.
What did they do during those seven hours? My friend saw them drinking coffee.
Asked, what activities are there? Answered by the black shirt, "Just look at the entar. The main special. "
They joined in the siege? Those who carry the long barrel take care so that no one is crowding. Those who wanted to get closer were kicked out. When I wanted to end the arrest, it was like a raid. You can't record videos. No photos allowed. The cellphone is seen up to the gallery.
How many people checked the phone I saw the two people in black clothes. \
All the merchants telephone rates? Not. Which is near the location only. Until the group left, I still heard them checking their cellphones.
Around what time the police group left the location? Do not know.
(Tempo Magazine December 14 2020 edition, the police departed from the KM 50 Rest Area at around 01.30) The police left in groups? Sequentially. One by one. Do you often witness the police arresting people in the KM 50 Rest Area? It's the first time. Police said four victims were shot as a result of fighting officers at Kilometer 51 + 200.
Did you fire your gun any time after the police left? Nothing. Your friend heard?
Not. (AHM) Source: Koran Tempo
