KNews.id- Born in 1964, Catur Budi Harto obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Management from the Prasetiya Mulya School of Management and a Master’s degree in Agronomy from IPB University. Now, he serves as Deputy President Director of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Persero, Tbk.
Previously, Chess had been poor across the country’s banking world. He has served as Director of PT. BTN (2016), Senior Executive Vice President of Network and Services PT. BRI (2015-2016), Head of Mass Banking Division PT. BRI (2014-2015), then Director of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and Networks at PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk since 2015.
It was only in September 2019, at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk, Catur Budi Harto was appointed as President Director replacing Sunarso, who is also an alumni of IPB University.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of SOEs opened up the reasons why Catur Budi Harto was transferred from BNI to become the Deputy President Director of BRI. Deputy for Financial Services, Survey Services and Consultants at the Ministry of SOEs, Gatot Trihargo, said that the appointment of Catur was to increase the credit sector to the agricultural sector.
