KNews.id- PT Asuransi Kredit Indonesia (Askrindo), a member of the Indonesian Financial Group Insurance and Guarantee Holding, won the award for Best CSR Company in 2020 from the National Amil Zakat Agency or BAZNAS. The Director of Compliance and Human Resources of Askrindo, Kun Wahyu Wardana, revealed that until now Askrindo had collaborated with BAZNAS in terms of distributing Environmental Social Responsibility (TJSL), especially in handling Covid 19.
"We (Askrindo) have distributed assistance in various types as needed, both for medical health workers and the affected community. Starting from PPE for health workers, masks, drinking water to ready-to-eat food for people affected by Covid 19, "said Kun Wahyu through a press release, Tuesday (15/12).
Kun Wahyu also explained that Askrindo was also one of BAZNAS's strategic partners in efforts to alleviate poverty and improve the welfare of the Indonesian people through the management of Environmental Social Responsibility (TJSL) funds.
"Since 2019 until now, Askrindo and BAZNAS have collaborated in several major programs, including the provision of religious facilities for disaster victims in the form of mosques in Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi, renovation of classrooms and provision of language laboratories in Makassar City, South Sulawesi. Ambulance car bodies in Makassar City, South Sulawesi, as well as provision of fishing boats in the Parigi Moutong area, Central Sulawesi, "he explained.
The Head of BAZNAS Bambang Sudibyo positively welcomed the cooperation with Askrindo that has been established so far. According to him, it is necessary to synergize with many parties in overcoming this pandemic, both helping those who are struggling in handling Covid-19 or helping those affected by the Covid-19 crisis.
