KNews.id- Communication expert from the University of Indonesia (UI) Ade Armando said there was a big force behind the refusal to detain FPI's high priest, Habib Rizieq Shihab (HRS). He said the rejection was reflected in the actions of a group of people in the regions demanding that HRS be released.
Ade Armando linked the refusal to the attack on several police stations in a number of areas. In fact, said Ade, there were two DPR members who were ready to become the guarantor for the release of HRS.
“I believe behind this there is a giant power that is the master mind. This kind of movement can be called a psychological operation, ”said Ade Armando in a video quoted by Pojoksatu.id from the Cokro TV YouTube channel, Wednesday (16/12).
In the video entitled "They plot to demand that Rizieq is not detained", Ade Armando emphasizes that the action was carried out to play a psychological role in the community.
"The series of events were held in such a way as to disturb the psychological atmosphere of the community," continued Ade Armando.
He said the targets of the series of events were feelings, emotions, beliefs and public perceptions about the government, HRS, and the shooting of the FPI troops.
According to Ade, they continued to spread repeated narratives to delegate the arrests of HRS and FPI members. Ade Armando said that Rocky Gerung, Refly Harun, and Ustadz Abdul Somad or UAS also played a psychological role in the community.
"Abdul Somad, for example, carries a verse from the Koran which states that whoever kills a human, he kills all humans. He also stated that the killers would go to hell”said Ade.
"Of course Somad manipulated the verses of the Koran, by removing the important part," continued Ade.
In the Koran, said Ade, there is no prohibition against killing those who bring destruction on earth.
"Therefore, he must say that the death of the FPI laskar who attacked the police was a savage act that would lead the police to hell," said Ade Armando.
